Size Guide
Hats are chosen by "head circumference." Here is how to measure it and how to read WORDS size labels.
Pass the tape horizontally around your head, just above the ears and across the most prominent part of your forehead. Do not pull it tight; leave room for one finger. If you don't have a tape measure, you can wrap a piece of string around your head and then measure its length with a ruler.

If you're unsure
- Models with adjustmentModels with an adjuster or size adjustment can be fine-tuned while you wear them. Even if the numbers don't match exactly, it may fit within the adjustment range
- If it feels tightPlease do not force it to stretch, as this can cause it to lose its shape. Consider our XL size, designed with a larger pattern from the start
- If it looks like it's perched on topThe shape, rather than the size, may not suit you. Try changing the angle you wear it at, or the shape of the hat

Our XL size hats are designed with a larger pattern from the start for people with a head circumference of 60cm or more. Please choose from the XL size collection.
How should I choose a kids' size?
Measure the head circumference the same way as for adults; approx. 52–54cm is the guide. Measurements differ by model, so please also check "Size & Material" on each product page.
Can I try hats on in the shop?
All hats in our shop "京都の帽子屋 Fab (Kyoto no Boushiya Fab)" in Kawaramachi, Kyoto, can be tried on. Not all items in the online store are necessarily available in the shop.
